Skills

You will find access to training presented in a unique way- via the internet! You can sit at your computer and attend any one of the courses offered in your own time and at your own pace. The courses are presented at three levels:

1. The fundamental level, which is for persons who are confronting a labour law matter for the first time, the small business owner who wants to know what to do when faced with a labour relations issue, an employee who wants to find out how to apply labour rights in the workplace, and some one who intends working in the labour relations field and who needs to acquire an understanding of the fundamental issues and gain skills which are marketable.

2. The professional level. These course are intended for someone who has completed the courses at the fundamental level, or some one who works in labour relations and needs to upgrade their knowledge and skills. These courses begin with a module which teaches you how to think like a labour lawyer, and shows you how to investigate interpret facts , find the applicable legislation and case law and apply that law to the facts of a particular dispute.

3. The advanced level. These courses discuss current labour relations issues and best practice.

Courses and modules  are being added as they are developed.
